We are particularly excited to report that with immediate effect, Jack Brown Eyecare has agreed an exclusive partnership with Hemp Eyewear to launch the newly created Hemp Tartan spectacle frames. The company that created this innovative spectacle range was founded, designed and manufactured in Edinburgh. With unswerving commitment and incredible foresight, they have developed the world’s first truly tartan frame using hemp materials and cuts off tartan.

Innovative Range

Commenting on the launch, Barry Duncan Director at Jack Brown Eyecare, said "We are delighted to be working with Sam to launch what is a truly unique and innovative range of frames. The very fact they are manufactured in Edinburgh, literally on our door step, fits very well with our company ethos as well as ticking many boxes regards using recyclable and sustainable products. Barry goes on to say "Manufacturing of spectacle frames in the UK is extremely rare nowadays, with most production overseas. To have hand crafted product from Edinburgh is quite impressive and certainly something we could not ignore. All of our staff are excited about the range and look forward to introducing our patients in both the Elder Street and Wester Hailes practices".
